How are appointments conducted?

Currently, I am conducting all psychiatric visits virtually, either by Zoom or through Face Time.

How are appointments scheduled for new patients?
In the ‘Contact’ section of this website, you may submit an email to me. I will get back to you with several questions and let you know of my policies. If you would still like to set up an evaluation after answering the questions and you are comfortable with my policies, I will get in touch by email/phone and give some appointment times for us to meet virtually.  It’s helpful for me to have some history as to why you want to be evaluated, thus making sure that I would be the right person to treat you. If for some reason you are unable to email through the website, you may leave a message on my voice mail with your name, telephone number, and a good time to call you.

What are your appointment hours?
I see patients on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00am – 7:00pm.

What is your cancellation policy?
I do require 48 business hours of advance notice to cancel a session without charge.  If I have not received the required 48 hour notice of cancellation,  I do bill in full for the session.  However, if given ample notice, I am typically able to reschedule your appointment easily.

Do you take insurance?
I am an out of network physician and am not in-network for any insurance panels.  Payment arrangements are exclusively between myself and my patients.  Patients do receive an itemized receipt, with the appropriate CPT and diagnostic codes, that can be submitted to insurance for your own personal reimbursement. Payment is expected at the time of service. I am not a Medicare provider; invoices can not be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
